The Oxnard Mermaid Girls Slow-Pitch Softball League is a non-profit organization with roots in Port Hueneme and South Oxnard, dating back to 1967. We are proud of our established legacy of making a real difference within our community, having earned a well respected position in Oxnard youth sports.

Our objective is to instill within our young girls, the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, and courage. We believe that a positive attitude and the desire to do your best are critical building blocks in guiding our girls to become motivated, successful young women.

Our League is run entirely by volunteers and is a 501c, not for profit Organization.

We are governed by an Elected and Appointed Executive Board. Board responsibilities begin in August and conclude in July, each year.

The league partners with the City of Oxnard, Hueneme School District and the County of Ventura to provide practice, game and recreational space to our players, families and volunteers. Mermaid Softball is not affiliated with any local, regional or national youth sports organization.
